Participation in the ASILDEM Conference on Multiple Sclerosis in Ponferrada
On December 17th, Dr. Mercedes Reguera García, a member of the SALBIS research group at the University of León, took part in the Dissemination Conference on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) organized by ASILDEM at the Casa de la Cultura in Ponferrada.
In her presentation titled “Moving Forward Together: Physiotherapy and New Strategies in MS”, Dr. Reguera highlighted the importance of postural control, balance, and gait for individuals affected by this disease. She also presented the findings from research conducted over the past four years in collaboration with ASILDEM, the result of a partnership agreement that underscores SALBIS’s commitment to knowledge transfer and improving the quality of life for people with MS.
The conference brought together experts from various disciplines, creating a platform for exchange and learning about advancements in the comprehensive treatment of MS. At SALBIS, we remain dedicated to research and scientific dissemination as essential tools for progress and social impact.
