Your hands for a life. CPR Workshop at the EXPOCIENCIA Ponferrada Edition
SALBIS group members María Cristina Martínez Fernández, Natalia Calvo Ayuso, Cristina Liébana Presa and Enedina Quiroga have participated in the workshop “your hands for a life” in the last edition of Expociencia in Ponferrada.
This workshop consisted of the presentation of a series of simulated cases with activation of the chain of survival to perform an early action to: cardiorespiratory arrest, with CPR maneuvers, use of the AED, as well as the exposure of a case of choking and performing the Heimlich maneuver.
These workshops, aimed at teenagers and adults, are useful for the population to improve their theoretical and practical training and to be able to act correctly in an emergency situation.
