Rubén García Fernández

I have a graduated in Nursing from the University of Valladolid, a Specialist Nurse in Obstetrics and Gynecology (midwife) and a PhD candidate in the doctoral program in Health and Human Motricity at the University of León.

I currently work as a Tutor in Nursing of ​​the Universidad e León. I have worked as an associate lecturer in the area of ​​nursing at the University of León in the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 courses. Previously, I worked as a midwife in the delivery room of the Hospital del Bierzo (León), in the University Hospital of Cruces (Bizkaia) and in the Health Center of Venta de Baños (Palencia).

My lines of research focus on the quality of life of pregnant women and the promotion of breastfeeding.
