Our colleague @PilarMarquesS participates in the panel on Nurse Leadership in Research, highlighting the trajectory of @gruposalbis @unileon.
She emphasises the different types of leadership that have been carried out in SALBIS over the last ten years, from a more bureaucratic leadership at the beginning with only four members, continuing with a more participative and driving leadership during the process of progress of the group, to a facilitating leadership in the current stage, where the group is experiencing a maturity as a research team. Marqués underlines the value of generosity as the essence of the SALBIS group. Generosity is having reciprocity without measuring and anticipating the needs of others.
Nursing research has a large field focused on care and well-being. There should not be a mass call for nursing research, only for those professionals who opt for this professional development. However, it is important that all nurses do consume research in their daily practice.
Marqués ended her speech by calling for the development of nursing research in a context of rigour and competition, the recruitment of students with research skills and the development of mentorship in research.
