Finalist Thesis in the Nursing in Development Awards 2019
Alberto González García with his thesis “Competence model for the nurse manager (MCGE)”, has been finalist in the Nursing in Development Awards 2019, among 274 candidatures. The thesis was developed at the European University of Madrid, and co-directed by Dr. Pilar Marqués and Dr. Arrate Pinto of the SALBIS Group (U. de León), and Dr. Jesús Sanz Villorejo (U. Europea de Madrid).
The thesis has defined a model of competencies, and will have a great impact on the selection of nursing managers in the Spanish Health System. In the same way, it will be the reference to continue working in this line of research.
