SALBIS AT EXPOCIENCIA PONFERRADA
On April 9 and 10, several members of the Physiotherapy area of the SALBIS group took part in Expociencia with an interactive workshop titled “The First Steps We All Take.” The workshop was designed as an educational breakout activity focused on the phenomena surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the first weeks of life.
More than 150 students from various schools and members of the general public took part in the workshop, discovering that we are all alike, yet different, in our physical development during the earliest stages of life.
Second-year students from the Physiotherapy Degree also participated as workshop instructors, taking their first steps into the world of research.
