Researchers from the Federal University of Viçosa Meet with the SALBIS Group at the Ponferrada Campus
On December 11, 2024, the Ponferrada Campus of the University of León hosted a meeting between three distinguished researchers from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil) —Miguel Araújo Carneiro Júnior, Osvaldo Costa Moreira, and Claudia Eliza Patrocínio de Oliveira— and members of the SALBIS Group.
Dr. Mercedes Reguera García, host of the meeting and a member of the SALBIS Group, presented research lines focused on balance, movement, postural control, and other key topics in the field of health sciences. She also highlighted the progress achieved by other researchers at the campus in these areas, emphasizing the importance of collaborative work. Meanwhile, the researchers from UFV shared their experiences and projects related to physical exercise, health, and sports, fostering a rich environment for the exchange of ideas and the identification of opportunities for future collaborations.
The meeting also included the participation of Dr. Pilar Marqués, director of the SALBIS Group, who underscored the significance of such initiatives as part of the group’s internationalization strategy, strengthening SALBIS’s commitment to research excellence and global knowledge transfer.
