Sensory routes, often referred to as “forest baths” and widely celebrated in Japan, are swiftly gaining recognition as a cornerstone in the quest to improve both health and overall well-being. These routes offer more than just an immersion in the natural world; they hold the potential to significantly enhance the cardiovascular health of those who venture through them.
Through the creation of sensory routes in the rural landscapes of El Bierzo, the overarching objective is to provide the local community with an opportunity to reconnect with nature and, at the same time, invigorate the employment prospects of the region. The preservation and careful maintenance of our stunning landscapes have now become an utmost priority, igniting new employment opportunities and driving sustainable economic growth.
