The SALBIS group participates in the institutional video of the ULE for the 8th March
The Universidad de León has made a commemorative video for International Women’s Day in which the progress and deficiencies in the university field in terms of gender equality are described.
The video, in which professors, students and administrative staff have participated, has the intervention of our colleague Raquel Leirós Rodríguez, expressing the intrinsic limitations of care tasks and how glass ceilings condition women’s work progress.
The Vice-Rector’s Office for Social Responsibility, Culture and Sports will broadcast the next few days through social networks and the screens of all Faculties and University Schools to sensitize and raise awareness among all levels of the university community about the social implications of gender today.
