SALBIS joins the Nursing Now movement in the year of Nurses and Midwives
2020 is the year of Nurses and Midwives, and in León, the Nursing Now group was born to do its bit for this global movement.
This movement aims to “give the profession the social recognition it deserves”, as well as to alleviate the lack of knowledge about it.
Our colleague Leticia Sánchez Valdeón has joined this new movement and declares: “For me, as a nurse, it is an honour and a challenge to be part of a movement that aims to bring to society the role that the Nursing Discipline plays from a bio-psycho-social approach. We nurses research, care for, consume science, generate knowledge and share it with a clear objective: to improve people’s quality of life”.
