The Salbis group has participated in the 1st CONFERENCE ON IMMIGRATION: BUILDING TOGETHER, held in Ponferrada on March 21, organized by Caritas Diocesana de Astorga and Social Services of the Municipality of Ponferrada.
Our colleague Enedina Quiroga, was in charge of the data management of this roundtable; with participants from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Mali, USA. UU., Haiti and China. His stories and experiences have allowed us to draw important conclusions about the new social reality that immigration is currently drawing.
For professionals in health sciences, it is an important challenge. The fact of knowing the sociocultural aspects, identifying the habits and customs; his most common illnesses, etc … will help us to build a more friendly and multicultural society
