Is it only investigated in a laboratory? : Nursing and social health research
Last February 11, our compañera Enedina Quiroga went to the school La Inmaculada in Ponferrada to give the talk: Is it only investigated in a laboratory? : Nursing and social health research, on the occasion of the commemoration of February 11 as the Day of women and girls in Science.
The paper delves into the figure of the scientific woman throughout history, showing the current need to continue breaking the existing gender gap in the field of science.
Enedina argued that the research is not only produced in a laboratory and refounded the importance of sociosanitary research in the nursing discipline: “Nursing focuses its care on the individual, the family and the community, but not only from the physical aspect , but also from the psychological and social “.
